
Incredible emotional moments in the 2021 NBA Draft … when commissioner Adam silver Slow selection Terrence Clarke An honorary pick will be held on behalf of the league.
The 19-year-old Clark, a superstar at the University of Kentucky, died in a tragic car accident in April … months before he became the rising star of the association.
Clark’s name was still called Thursday night … in honor of Silver before the 15th pick took place.

“His extraordinary talent, dedication and dedication to the game deserves recognition at this stage,” Silver said.
Terence’s family was attending the Barclays Center in honor … his mother, brothers and sisters received an NBA-themed draft hat and were walking on stage.
Silver went on … “Know to your three, and everyone who knew and admired Terence, that he would be part of the NBA family forever.”
Clark’s mother was very emotional when she reached the stage … the whole room gave a standing ovation and hugged Silver when she chanted Terence’s name.
Clark (expected to be the first round pick) was loved by the basketball community … and had a bright future on and off the court.
