The Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District health Unit has confirmed 6 new cases on Covid-19 in Northumberland in its latest numbers.
Northumberland has 15 active cases to date.
Dr Natalie Bocking spoke to the media yesterday and aside from the new cases discussed The Omicron variant was also a hot topic.
When asked about the latest Covid-19 variant she added:

Bocking adds that vaccines will give us a leg up against the newest mutation of virus.
